CHSP Resident Services Assistant

$500 SIGN-ON BONUS SUBJECT TO ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Manchester Housing and Redevelopment Authority is hiring a CHSP Resident Services Assistant. This candidate will be working directly with MHRA’s tenant population, and will perform housekeeping and food preparation services in a commercial kitchen consistent with CHSP program standards.

Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus two years’ experience as a housekeeper. Interested candidates should have the ability to interact with seniors and persons with disabilities in a compassionate, diplomatic, positive and helpful manner. Must be able to work independently and maintain professional boundaries. Sensitivity to the needs of persons of diverse social, cultural and economic backgrounds is required. Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal as well as the ability to work under pressure. Experience with food preparation and kitchen/dining room operations is required. Being bilingual is preferred, but not required. This is a full-time, 35-hour work week, non-exempt position.

CHSP Food Service Specialist

$500 SIGN-ON BONUS SUBJECT TO ELIGIBLITY CRITERIA

Manchester Housing and Redevelopment Authority is hiring a CHSP Resident Food Service Specialist. This candidate will be working directly with MHRA’s tenant population, and will serve as the primary cook responsible for site kitchen and dining room operations, including planing, preparing and serving well-balanced meals to SSP participants in accordance with program guidelines.

Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus two years’ experience in food preparation and dining room operations. Interested candidates should have the ability to interact with seniors and persons with disabilities in a compassionate, diplomatic, positive and helpful manner. Ability to work in a fast- paced environment and under pressure is required. Must have sensitivity to the needs of persons of diverse social, cultural and economic backgrounds. Must be able to work independently and maintain professional boundaries. This is a full-time, 35-hour work week, non-exempt position.

Plumber

Manchester Housing and Redevelopment Authority is hiring a Plumber. This person will perform skilled work related to replacement, corrective, preventive maintenance, repairs, restorations and installation of mechanical equipment, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing and related systems.

Our ideal candidate will have four years of practical experience in the mechanical and plumbing profession related to plumbing and HVAC. Also, the candidate must possess a valid State of New Hampshire Master Plumbing License and State of New Hampshire Fuel Gas Fitters License with STN/STP endorsement.

This is a full-time, 40-hour position. A Valid NH Driver’s License is Required.

Property Management Assistant

Manchester Housing and Redevelopment Authority is hiring a Property Management Assistant to perform daily department opertions for assigned Public Housing developments. This Assistant will process and sceen applicants for eligibility and compute rent recertification in accordance with HUD and MHRA regulations, including all annual and interim rent changes. Additional tasks include communicating Authority policies, services, and requirements, including lease enforcement, safety, etc. as well as assisting Property Managers with various functions.

Our ideal candidate will possess three years’ experience in customer service and/or office management. Property management experience is preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Interested applicants should possess strong multi-tasking skills and be sensitive to the needs of persons with diverse social, cultural, and economic backgrounds.

This is a full-time, 35-hour work week, position.

Accountant II

Manchester Housing and Redevelopment Authority is hiring an Accountant II. This person will perform accounting functions such as entering journal entries, preparing budgets, reconciliations, financial reporting, payroll, accounts payable, and landlord payments under the supervision of the Finance Director.

Our ideal candidate will have a four-year college degree in Finance/Accounting. Must have excellent mathematical, accounting/payroll and budgeting skills, both written and verbal, with internal and external parties. Strong analytical skills, problem-solving, and attention to detail. Ability to properly handle sensitive, confidential information.

This is a full-time, 35-hour work week, position.
